The serial number on the boot cap is 90xx, and the serial number on the top of the boot joint under the strap hook is 196xx. Everything else is the same, and by same I mean that if I added a high d key to my bassoon they would be identical twins, right down to the wood grain, key-guards, key hinges, and logo on the bell. It is an almost exact carbon copy of this horn () except mine is only keyed to high c. I have an old Schreiber bassoon that I bought off of Craigslist a while ago that I practice at home on and I'm just curious as to what model it is and how it fares against a standard like the fox Renard series of horns.
